Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) is an American Heart Association (AHA) authorized Heartsaver Training Site (TS) offering certification, re-certification, monitoring and quality site checks to Aramco.
The JHAH AHA Authorized Heartsaver Training Site “TS” is assuming the role of Training Center of Excellence the aim is to focus on certification of Heartsaver instructors for all Aramco organizations, and to monitor the certified trainers to ensure best-in-class practice, in compliance with AHA guidance and regulations.
Heartsaver training is a mandatory requirement to Saudi Aramco employees (with a validity of two years) to comply with the Organization’s Safety Management System.
Our Heartsaver team at JHAH teaches cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), first aid and the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), offering organizations the opportunity to certify candidates as Heartsaver instructors, in order to train the staff of their department.
The Instructor Training Program is offered to interested organizations that show a high demand for Heartsaver training.
To take part in the Heartsaver Instructor Training Program ITP, you can request it through your Saudi Aramco Supervisor/Division Head, the candidate must be aged under 45, bilingual and be a certified trainer (Trainer Program course, Phase I & II from Staff Development Unit).
