Ras Tanura Primary Care Clinic

Our Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) Primary Care Clinic at Ras Tanura is dedicated to providing you and your family with expert treatment in a comfortable and friendly environment. Whether you receive treatment with our Primary Care physicians in one of our clinics, or are referred to our experts for more specialized care, you can be sure that you will be well looked after by our friendly and experienced teams.

Ras Tanura Primary Care Clinic 

We provide essential services such as the distribution of medication, screening tests and immunizations, and offer a variety of amenities to make your time with us as comfortable as possible.

You may find it most convenient to arrange appointments and check your medical information through our MyChart tool, from the comfort of your own home.

Primary Care Clinic

If you do not require urgent attention, you can make an appointment to see one of the doctors at our Primary Care Clinic. The easiest way is via your online patient portal, MyChart. Once you have signed up, you will be able to quickly and easily schedule your visit, manage your medication refills and more.

Walk-in Care Clinic

Walk-in Care is available to all JHAH registered patients who have an urgent but non-life threatening condition that does not require immediate emergency medical care.

Services such as routine check-ups, referrals of any kind to specialty services, medication refills, and laboratory test results are not offered at the Walk-in Care. If you require any of these services, kindly schedule a Primary Care Clinic appointment with your Primary Care physician.

In case you experience an urgent medical condition out of hours, visit JHAH Emergency Services.

Primary Care Treatment Room

The treatment room is a nurse-led service, where scheduled immunizations, dressing of wounds and intravenous (IV) medication or fluids are administered.

Health Education / Nurse Clinic

If you require more in-depth help towards managing your health goals, you can seek a referral to our Health Education / Nurse Clinic, or refer yourself. Our friendly and knowledgeable nurses offer advice on everything from diet and nutrition to home care. 

Pharmacy services

We understand that it is not always possible to obtain your medication during working hours, which is why the pharmacy at Ras Tanura Primary Care Clinic is open seven days a week, from early in the morning until late at night. We also provide a Medication Management Clinic, where you can discuss your medication or request a prescription in complete confidence.

Emergency Pharmacy:
Sunday through Thursday: 4 p.m. – 11 a.m.
Weekends and holidays: 7 a.m. - 11 p.m.

Medication Management Clinic:
Sunday through Thursday: 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Weekends and holidays: No service.

Anticoagulation Clinic:
Monday and Thursday: 7 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Laboratory and screening tests

During your visit, your doctor or nurse may request a blood/urine/stool sample or a scan to enable further analysis. This will either be carried out during your initial appointment or scheduled for a later date. Our expert medical staff will talk you through the process and explain their reasons for requesting it.

Immunizations

Vaccinations provide the best possible way to protect you and your family from a wide range of illnesses, both at home and overseas. You can receive immunizations for everything from flu to tetanus at our Primary Care Clinic.

Children’s care

Treating a sick child requires a special set of skills, and you can rest assured that our dedicated team will provide the best possible care. Whether your child is suffering from an illness or requires a vaccination, they will be treated with compassion and sensitivity. We encourage regular Well Child Visits, so that we can monitor your child’s health at different stages of their growth.

Car parking

There is convenient car parking located around the Ras Tanura Health Center.

Food and drink

While there is no coffee shop at the Primary Care Clinic, a range of nutritious refreshments can be purchased from one of our vending machines.   

Play area

We want to reduce any anxiety your child might have about visiting the clinic, and make it an enjoyable experience. Our play area promotes fun play in a safe area, enabling parents to relax in our comfortable observation area.

If you cannot attend an appointment, please let us know – you could be freeing up a slot for another grateful patient. Do not forget to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. If you are late, you will need to reschedule.
