Dr. Bahaa Farouk Bseiso is a Consultant of Gastroenterology at King Fahad Specialist Hospital-Dammam. He graduated from Arabian Gulf University- Bahrain (MD), ranking first in class, and completed his Internal Medicine residency program (Saudi Specialty Certificate in Internal Medicine) at King Fahad University Hospital-Khobar. Later, he joined King Fahad Specialist Hospital-Dammam, where he completed the Saudi Board (fellowship) in Gastroenterology & Hepatology and the Specialty Certificate Examination in Gastroenterology (RCP–UK).

Dr. Bahaa Farouk Bseiso is also the Quality Program Director for the Department of Medicine & Medical Services Center with more than nine years of experience in healthcare quality. He developed and implemented quality improvement and patient safety initiatives across the departments, and possesses the CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) and CPPS (Certified Professional in Patient Safety - (IHI)) designations. He also serves as a member and chair of multiple committees throughout the hospital and E1 cluster, as the Chairman of the Patient Experience and Complaints Committee, and is assigned as a medical counterpart for the hospital accreditation - CBAHI/JCIA.

Leading multiple initiatives across the hospital to improve workflow processes and patient safety, Dr. Bahaa Farouk Bseiso serves as a subject matter expert for various projects. He was part of the team that established the Second Victim Support Program (Assist Me) for healthcare workers at KFSH-D. In December 2019, Dr. Bahaa Farouk Bseiso, along with the team won the National Patient Safety World – second edition (Saudi Patient Safety Center) from his Excellency Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, former Minister of Health for the project (Prevention of Hospital-Acquired VTE).
